Erika's background
Erika began her career in New York with Lancome, working in the main office in
the marketing department. She later went on to become a Lancome sales
coordinator for Macy's department stores in New York. After training beauty
advisors, coordinating special events and hiring freelancers, Erika eventually
decided that applying makeup was much more fun and exciting than selling it.
"I see every new face as a fresh canvas to paint. And each one of those faces
presents a new challenge. I love the reaction people get when they look at
themselves in the mirror. They are usually amazed at how beautiful they look,
and it's very gratifying for me." Ten years have gone by since Erika first started
doing weddings. She has learned tips and techniques from some of the finest
makeup artists and has perfected her craft.
